The year has already begun, and it’s time to give a brief update on what’s happening with Historical Ornamentation Sources.
Since its launch, more than 4,500 unique visitors from all over the world have accessed the website, and it has garnered nearly 9,000 visits!
I would especially like to thank those who have contributed to the catalog with new entries—thank you, Martin Perkins, and our anonymous friends for your contributions.
Remember that this project currently has no funding, and if you’d like to help it continue and thrive, you can always make a donation. NEWS
I am very grateful to Robert de Bree for giving me the opportunity to talk about this project and about ornamentation and improvisation on his YouTube channel.

RISM also highlighted this project, and I had the honor of publishing a short article in their news section!

NEW UPDATES
Since the last update, 80 new sources have been added thanks to the collaboration of Martin Perkins, anonymous contributors, and myself.
I have gathered all these new sources on this page.
Among all these new sources, a significant number of written cadenzas for various instruments stand out—something I always enjoy.

Additionally, some sources for double bass have been included, one of my favorite instruments.

And there are also some interesting two-part preludes (named cadenz)!

Happy ornamenting!
